Rug hooker Jess is a well-known contemporary folk artist who has been designing and crafting hooked rugs since 2002. She is a juried artist in Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival and in 2023 she was the artist in residence in Yarmouth, NS. Her work is often featured in Rug Hooking Magazine including Celebration of Hand Hooked Rugs 30.
